3D Paint is a drawing mode that allows you to use a 2D paint brush to generate 3D render images in real-time.

Activate 3D Paint

To get started with 3D paint you first have to change your drawing mode:

• To enter 3D paint mode go to the toolbar and click the drop-down menu and select 3D Paint

Different materials

3D Paint has 2 materials that you can render, Metallic and Glossy Black .

• Select the purple circle in the toolbar to toggle between the material options

• The purple swatch will produce the Metallic material in the render window box
• The Gray swatch will produce the Glossy Black material in the render window box
